Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Clear Spring Mills property offers a beautiful rural setting, away from the daily routine but easily accessible off Route 15. Whether here for two hours or two days, the quiet setting, the sense of history, the old pine boards and timbering, the natural light through wavy glass.... all combine to provide a distinct sense of energy, creativity and inspiration.

Meeting space is available in the mill on both the first and second floors, depending on the needs and size of the group, and the activities of the day. While larger board meeting groups may find the open space on second floor most appropriate, a more informal gathering might feel more comfortable on the first floor. For individual and small group retreat purposes (journaling, painting, spiritual direction) there are a variety of quite corners both in the grist mill, and the surrounding gardens and grounds. Depending on the season and the nature of the group, meals are frequently served in the restored sawmill.

For each group, large or small, we are anxious to discuss your needs. Whether it involves coffee break service, the use of a projection screen, a catered picnic lunch, a gourmet dinner or a mill history presentation during your afternoon break... we will coordinate with you to help make your time away, time well spent.
The first floor of the grist mill is handicapped accessible, as is the restroom which is located in the adjoining sawmill. Smoking is not permitted in any of the mill buildings or studios.
